2016 Rocky Mountain State Games

What a great weekend!  This weekend, Karma and Jenny participated as an athlete team in the Rocky Mountain State Games held in Colorado Springs.  We kicked off the competition with a QQ yesterday which was good enough to put us into the Bronze medal spot heading into the the final day of competition.  We were just under 30 points behind our friends Janelle and Belle in the Gold spot, and about 25 from Kimberly and McKenna who were sitting in Silver.  Both of those teams are screaming fast, so we were pretty excited to be in their company.

Today, Karma laid down another QQ and finished her MXS title!  The MXS is earned after you have earned 50 qualifying runs in Master Standard — pretty big deal!  Unfortunately, we were knocked out of the medal run, but still, can’t complain about here hanging in there with some of the fastest Border Collies and Aussies in our region!
