A match and picnic fun

Exhaustion.  Seriously.  This was a very big weekend, but luckily, we are surrounded by amazing friends who are always there to support us in our endeavors.

Yesterday we participated, worked, and helped run the Agility A Match for the Mile High Sporting Dog Fanciers.  This is the first step for the club to get their license to hold agility trials.  Once they are licensed the qualifications count toward titles, but today was just for fun.  And man, was it fun!  The jumpers course was an absolute blast…super fast, and we passed!  Karma even got first place which earned us a PINK ribbon 🙂

Getting the MHSDF is a dream for Jenny and we are so thankful for all the support from our friends…even the ones who don’t do agility!  Big thanks to Dale, Katherine, Krista, Ginger, Sally, Anita, Sheryl, Bruce, and Angela for all the help yesterday.  And Heather even came out on Friday to help course build even though she isn’t a member.  Like we said…AMAZING friends 🙂

Today we had the LPDTC summer picnic.  The events started at 5:00 with a swim and then the meeting/pot luck commenced at 6:00.  Since Halo is our swimmer girl, she got to go solo today, and had the BEST time.  Gunner (and Heather) were there and GG lit up when he saw Halo…something about Vizslas, for some reason they *LOVE* their own kind.  Perhaps something to do with similarities in temperament and play style?  Halo had so much fun diving in after the bumpers, even retrieving the ones everyone else thought were too far away.  We gotta figure out a way to get this girl more water time…
