This weekend we gave agility another shot, and while we didn’t walk away with any Qs, Cheeky did get to meet our friends, Mary & Steve’s, puppy Tali. Tali is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who is “mismarked.” This means she has too much white in the wrong spots for the show ring, but she lucked out and ended up in an awesome performance home.
Tali has been a little hesitant to start swimming, so Mary wanted to see if she would follow Cheeky into the creek. She dipped her legs in a little, but mostly the girls just wanted to play chase. I think these girls will be friends for many years to come!
And in the meantime, Maggie made her debut in Scent Work this weekend!! Catherine and Byron took Maggie and Cotton up to Idaho to test their skills and they did AWESOME! Maggie picked up 2 Exterior Novice legs, an Interior leg, AND a Container leg! Couldn’t be more proud of Mags!
