Christmas in El Paso

The 6 pups!  Mungo on top of the cushion, and then left to right: Tybee, Indy, little Schmavitz, Karma, and Halo!  Merry Christmas!

We are just getting back home after a fabulous week in Jenny’s hometown of El Paso.  We headed down on Christmas Eve, made it for midnight mass services and Christmas with family — seriously nothing better!  Well, maybe making it better is that we have a super dog friendly family; they kinda have to be with us, right?  Jenny’s parents have the cutest Border Terrier named Mungo, and her brother and sister-in-law have a Standard Poodle named Tybee.  We had quite the time with 6 people and 6 dogs!

The girls playing tug with Tybee.  Poodle in the middle!

Days were spent watching Tybee play tug with the girls and letting Chad and Autumn take the Vizslas for runs.  They always joke that running with the Vizslas makes them feel like they aren’t running that fast because the V’s just trot along casually beside them. Too funny.

Halo “helping” her Grandma make sandwiches.

We also made it to see the new Star Wars movie — the tickets were in our stockings, and the annual Sun Bowl game.  Back in the day, Jenny was a Sun Princess so the games are a bit of a tradition.  And believe it or not — it snowed!  Like real snow!  It was crazy having a white Christmas in El Paso!  It was Tybee’s first time in the snow and Halo managed to show him the ropes!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas with your loved ones and wish you the best for 2016!
