This weekend we headed to Austin, Texas to throw a Gender Reveal party for Jenny’s brother Chad and his wife, Autumn. We asked Emily if she would puppy and fish sit and she was happy to oblige. She also mentioned that we could enter Karma at the trial this weekend and she could run her.
Loved all the updates we got all weekend — Karma and Emily were 4 for 5 runs and just one weave entry away from a perfect day. They had qualifying runs in Excellent FAST, Standard, Premier Standard, and Premier Jumpers! That FAST Q is huge! Jenny has run Karma in Excellent FAST at least 10 times and we’ve never been able to qualify — she hates the distance work from Jenny. Jenny received several texts from friends that Karma and Emily were laying it down in the 20” class. Emily is this gorgeous, tall athlete with a beautiful stride, Karma loved the speed! They ended up with 3 placements too!
We are so thankful to leave our dogs in such capable hands and love that Emily was able to have some fun while doing the job too. We are heading back to Denver with the exciting news that our new niece will be a girl too!
