Karma competes at the 2017 NAC

Karma is simply amazing.  She never ceases to amaze us.  This weekend, she handled traveling across the country to compete with the Nations top agility dogs at the AKC’s National Agility Championship.  Our travel buddies were our BFFs Emily and her Golden Retriever, Layla, and we had the best time!

Luckily, with all of Jenny’s work travel, our stay at the Fairfield Marriott in Macon, Georgia was free!  The hotel was right across the streat from a college campus, so we were able to find a cute Mexican restaurant on the other side of campus.  We made sure to have some QQritas in anticipation of a great weekend ahead!  The campus was gorgeous so we had many rolling hills of greens for the girls to enjoy their evening walk too!

Karma and Layla also shared a stall with their Golden buddy from Kansas, Dug and his owner Heidi.  Heidi is awesome, she decorated our stall in a whole Alice & Wonderland theme, and the girls loved her.  We also had to laugh, because Karma had her typical RBF in all the pictures, while her Golden friends were always smiling!

When all was said and done, Karma finished the NAC with two clean runs.  We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed cheering on our friends who ran in challengers and the finals!  We even had a Vizsla in finals this year — Vegas with her owner Steve Larrison competed in the 24” finals class.  It was so exciting!  Our friend from trialing in California, Terry, also won the 16” preferred class with his Toller!  Hoping we get to compete again at the next NAC when it heads back to Reno!
