Kill the Rabbit

What a busy day!  Marc was on call today (meaning he was working in the office from 8-12) so Jenny decided to take Karma to Children’s and cover a shift for one of the other volunteers.  We like the Saturday vibe!  The patients and their families were all so happy to have there, especially since they were spending their weekend in the hospital.

After Karma wiggled her way around the 8th floor, we headed back home for a quick wardrobe and canine change.  Marc still wasn’t home, so Jenny took Halo up to Northglenn for some bunny chasing.  If you haven’t heard about coursing, you can read up on it here.  We heard about this coursing ability test a couple weeks ago from our friend Darci, and we were pretty excited to see if Baby Hay liked it.

When we arrived in Northglenn, we were so excited to see Steffie there!  Steffie was running her Basenji Truly as they are going for her Senior Courser title.  We sat around catching up with Steffie until it was time for Halo’s debut.  And she did it!  She took off after that bunny and ran her little heart out 🙂  It was fun to see her having such a great time.  Icing on the cake was finding out Halo passed and picked up her first CA leg!

We aren’t sure when the next coursing test will be, but you’ll bet we will be there!  Thanks to Darci for her encouragement and letting us borrow her coursing slip lead and to Steffie for hanging out and cheering us on!
