Man…what a weekend! This weekend’s trial was hosted by the Greater Denver Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club and judged by the fab, LaVar Griffin. Jenny was hired to work this trial and since it is WAY up North, she crashed up at Heather’s place. We usually have a slumber party this weekend every year so we can work on our all important GOAL LIST! This year was no different — see below!
Agility wise we had a pretty amazing trial. Karma picked up her 10th QQ on Saturday! This is actually where we picked up our first QQ 2 years ago. We’ve come SO far. She has become so FAST, we even get placements in the uber competitive 20” class from time to time. Yesterday was one of those days…in jumpers even! Standard was a crazy situation. Karma slipped in the weaves..freaked me out. I stopped the run and checked her out…touching your dog gets an Excusal, so we were out. Later, they discovered the weaves were set up incorrectly, so they let anyone who had an incident where the dog slipped out of the weaves, repeat the weaves. We did…and we got our 10th QQ.
Today was probably my favorite jumpers run of the weekend. It was magical and in sync. Loved every moment.
Feeling so blessed as to how far we’ve come, really excited to see how much more we grow as a team in 2015!
