Well, on our prep for for Reno and the AKC National Agility Championship, we took one day off of skiing in February to do agility. It ended up being bad. There was a 180 from an Aframe to a teeter, and Karma’s back legs never made it on. They swung around and ended up getting crunched in between the apex, the teeter, and the stand. Karma was three-legged and whimpering, Jenny was crying. It was a MESS.
So we took a couple weeks off and decided to enter Karma in a USDAA trial this weekend since she is in the novice classes in that venue. It would be a good opportunity to get her back in a trial environment and on a teeter if she was willing. Well, she was willing and laid it down. Walked out with a 1st and a 3rd place, but more importantly, got back on the teeter and started building up her confidence. Love you Karms.
