Even though it has been a work-from-home kind of year, it’s always nice to have a 4 day weekend! We kicked it off by hitting the barn hunt trial being held at Matrix Dog hot off our lessons on Sunday. Cheeky did not disappoint and picked up the last Novice leg she needed to earn her RATN or Rat Novice title! Such a smartie pants!
Then we headed up to Vail to enjoy the long weekend soaking in the perfect Colorado Mountain summer. The hiking was fab, the swimming was great, and we’ve never been so thankful to have the condo and a way to escape.
Then we bookended our 4th in Vail with more Barn Hunt in Denver. Under fellow Vizsla enthusiast, Sharon Jonas, Halo picked up a shiny new RATO title with a High in Class time of 37 seconds. Cheeky also picked up an Open leg with a High in Class time of 41 seconds.
