What a fantastic weekend! This weekend the Scent Work trial was dedicated to the memory of Paula Canning — a Vizsla owner and Scent Work judge who tragically died a month ago. We had quite the Vizsla contingent for this trial — Ginger had her girls Kili and Carly entered and Catherine came with Maggie on Sunday. Felt good to have the red heads there for the trial dedicated to her memory.
Saturday, Cheeky and Jenny were off by one thing in almost every run, except they did pick up a Master Container leg! So funny, it took forever to get Cheeky to Master container, but once we did, she has been on fire!
Sunday was a fantastic day! Maggie and Catherine qualified in Novice Buried and finished off Maggie’s overall Scent Work Novice title! The also picked up 2nd place with a Handler Discrimination Novice leg and picked up an Interior Advanced leg! Cheeky didn’t want her sister to be the only to pick up an overall title, and qualified in Master Exterior to finish her overall Scent Work Master title! She also picked up an additional leg in Master Container and Handler Discrimination Master!
So super proud of these super sniffers and we had the best time crating in a little Vizsla compound. Weekends with great friends are just the best!
