This USDAA thing is pretty darn fun — especially when you have to start with your Agility Champion in beginner classes! So funny.
Today, Karma ran in STD and JWW and not only qualified in both, but got 1st place in each too! And yes, while it shouldn’t be any surprise that she qualifies, Standard classes are pretty hard for Karma because the contacts are shorter than they are in AKC events (which is already hard for us!) Plus, USDAA requires a down on the table, which Karma just thinks is kinda stupid. But, she humored me and I got that down stay.
Not sure when we will be able to do another USDAA event, but this was super fun today. It was up in our friend Liz’s facility in Greeley and it was a nice intimate group. Almost everyone crated out of the car since it was such as nice day. And at the end of the trial we volunteered to take the judge back to the airport since everyone on the trial committee lives up North. Felt great to be able to pitch in!
