Cross that goal off the list! Baby Halo is so excited to announce that we have a vacation home in Vail now! Jenny sold her first home in the Springs a couple months ago, and needed to reinvest the proceeds. After navigating the real estate market in the mountains (you would not believe how many have anti-residential dog legislation to protect wildlife) we finally found the perfect place in Vail.
The main reason for this purchase is Halo’s love of everything outdoors — hiking, swimming, running, jumping, hunting — in any climate! Our new condo is less than a mile from an off-leash dog park complete with lake and soccer field, backs to National Forest land for awesome hikes, and is conveniently located near a pretty sweet ski resort for the humans! The condo is also along a creek, so Halo will be able to run out the door and into the creek whenever she pleases! Luckily it is also a ground level unit which will make getting in and out of there with 4 dogs much easier 🙂
The whole interior is circa 1972, so some major upgrades are in order, but we are so excited to take the project on and make “Halo’s Haven” the perfect retreat for us and the Vizslas!
