Vanessa was our second foster dog, and we just didn’t get to keep her long enough! She was so sweet! All she wanted to do was be by your side constantly, a true Velcro Vizsla! She was adopted by a fabulous family down in the Springs shortly after coming to our home. Every now and again we get updates on Vanessa, so we thought we’d share the good news.

Hey Jenny! We are doing great! Nessa could not be a better fit for our family. She is great with our daughter, best friends with our cat, and is Shawn’s hiking partner. However, she is my best friend. She never leaves my side, she snuggles with me and follows me everywhere. Shawn was away for work for 6 weeks and Nessa was always there in his spot in the bed, which she will put up a fight for that spot now that he is home 🙂 She loves going to our cabin! We put in a dog door for her so she has the freedom to go in and out while we are gone. It is a special one that locks and only she can open it. She has learned to unlock it for the cat to come in and out. 🙂 She is so smart and such a well behaved dog. We love her so much and are so blessed to have her as part of our family.
