Annual Sporting Dog Trial

Exhausted!! This weekend was the annual Mile High Sporting Dog Fanciers agility trial that we work on with our club. This year was a little crazy as our judge became an AKC rep, so we had to scramble a bit last minute to find a new judge. But with that squared away a couple months ago we were ready for the weekend!

Friday, Jenny’s Mom, Carol, was scheduled to arrive at 10:30am to attend an Andrea Bocceli concert we were going to with our friends Krista and Katherine. But, after delays all day long, her flight was cancelled at 4pm. It was an enormous bummer! But, the concert was AMAZING, and so worth staying up late for the night before the trial. If you ever have the opportunity to go — do it!

The next morning came early, and it was raining! Yes, in late June! It was about 55 degrees outside and rainy — so crazy. Once it dried up, the cooler weather was super nice on the dogs, and Karma always runs faster when it’s cool outside.

Sunday wasn’t as rainy, but the weather again stayed pretty cool. Karma was a rockstar all weekend and ending up getting a QQ both days AND all her Qs were placements! It was a long weekend helping our friends Dale & Katherine run the trial, but we all survived!
