Today was the day — Cheeky’s ultrasound! With all the trauma and drama surrounding the breedings and the spider bite, I really just wasn’t sure there would be any puppies. And I honestly just hoped that she wouldn’t be pregnant rather than just only pregnant with one or two, which would put her at high risk for a C-section.
But today, at our appointment with Dr. Hess, she found 3 embryos! Cheeky is going to have babies! I’m so freaking excited about this litter and knew that if she was preggo, the theme would obviously have to be based on Spiders. I had an idea to make her announcement into a comic strip ala The Amazing Spiderman. My friend Lindsay took the idea and RAN with it. I absolutely LOVE it and can’t wait to meet The Amazing Spiderlings in March!
