COVID-19 Hiking

This COVID-19 outbreak is really picking up steam. All Jenny’s appointments canceled for work, so it’s been a lot of admin and office organizing around here. Tad called yesterday to see if we wanted to hit the trail. Thursdays are Marc’s day off, but with all the outbreak madness, he had to stay home and review charts.

Jenny and the girls, however, were able to meet up with Tad and get some much needed exercise accomplished. We met at the Hessie Trailhead which is where our friend Lindsay’s Delaney went missing a year ago. So tragic. So hope that some anonymous tips come in and that she is found. Lindsay & Austin definitely deserve some closure.

We took the lower trail and got about a mile in, when another hiker told us to watch out for the family of moose about ahead! Tad walked up the trail and saw the moose bedded down about 20 yards of the trail and tried to convince Jenny it was fine. He did not win that battle. Instead we hiked back up and then went up the top trail for a bit.

The views were gorgeous and the dogs enjoyed the break from being cooped up inside. Hopefully, this mess will be behind us all soon!
