Karma is a Pup Pal!

Today Karma got all kinds of mail. First, since retiring as a therapy dog at Children’s Hospital Colorado we’ve been looking for ways to keep Karma contributing to kids’ lives since she loved it so much.

Very happy to share she is an AKC Pup Pal! This program sends children a picture and story about a dog to help comfort them. “Any child is eligible to receive a note, including children who are struggling with an illness, the illness/death of a loved one (human or pet), who are missing a deployed parent, or who are otherwise struggling through a difficult time.” Find more details or submit your dog at https://www.akc.org/public-education/akc-puppals-program/

Then, back in December, we were delighted to find a copy of the December 6 Dog News magazine in our mailbox. A girlfriend had seen it at a show and sent us a copy! The edition had an article called, “Do Dogs Actually Love Us” and featured a full page picture of Karma. We had submitted the photo along with the article Dog News published on versatile Vizslas and had no idea this was coming!

We just picked up the framed copy and absolutely love how it turned out. Can’t wait to hang it up; she’s one in a million!
