Maggie’s first agility Q!

One consequence of CoViD-19 precautions is that most agility trials have a headcount limit now. This weekend the Wheaten Terriers were hosting and they had to keep less than 50 people in the arena area and less than 50 in the crating area. They decided to limit yesterday to small Excellent dogs and Open dogs. Today was the big dogs and the Novice dogs, so both Karma and Cheeky could run today (and we got to take yesterday off to hike!)

Jenny wanted to enter to get a sense of the precautions being taken in advance of the Vizsla trial at the end of the month, but more exciting than that, it was going to be both Maggie and Cheeky’s first agility trial!

The babies did great! This was Cheeky’s first time on turf and in such a big space. A few times, she really took in all that space! But we put some things together and came pretty close to a couple Qs!

Maggie was a star and picked up her first Jumpers leg with her mom, Catherine! She was also super close to a Standard leg. We are so excited to watch this team at Vizsla Nationals in a few weeks!
