Halo was so excited her favorite swimming hole is no longer an ice rink!

Getting out of town and up into the mountains was a great escape this weekend.  Jenny had to work in Edwards on Friday, so she packed up the pups and headed West.  Turns out it was National Wine day, so before bed, she shared a glass of red with our redheads!  Marc met up with everyone on Friday afternoon and we kicked off our weekend.

Saturday we took the girls on our favorite hike.  The trailhead takes off from our condo, so it makes it super easy to just walk out the door and go.  We leave Schmav home because he seems too much like bait for wild animals.  He doesn’t mind though, just leave the TV on for him and he’s a happy camper.  The girls were happy to get 3 miles in.

Saturday afternoon there was a Blues, Brews, BBQ fest in Beaver Creek.  We headed over and had so much fun.  It was great to get to sample food from a bunch of restaurants in the Valley.  Apparently, they do it every year, so we might just need to make it a tradition!

Yesterday, we took the girls on another hike and swim and then headed down the hill so Karma could compete in agility today.  This was her first trial running in Preferred and she did it in style with placements in both of her qualifying runs!  She picked up Qs in both Jumpers and Jumpers Premier.  Then we won the Tequila themed basket in the raffle.  It was a great long weekend 🙂
