New Variocage is installed!! Jenny has been pining over this crate for what seems like forever, but with a company car that was tight on space, it just wasn’t feasible. However, when Jenny switched companies back in April, she went from having a fleet vehicle to a car allowance! This meant she could pick out her very own car AND plan it around this crate!
Many thanks to Mick’l with Summit Agility for all his help. He actually drove out to a Porsche dealer in Salt Lake City to measure the back of a Cayenne for us, so we could ensure the crate would fit. Give them your business! They had the rollout mat too that is pictured too!
Jenny’s brother Andrew is here living with us this summer and we had a little family project putting the crate together. It is better than expected; completely silent! No more rattling crate as you drive down the road. The visibility through the crate is also great. Finally, it is designed with a crumple zone, so that if you are rear-ended, no sharp edges cut into your dog AND it has an escape hatch on the opposite side incase you can’t open the back door of the car. Literally thought of everything. And it has been crashed tested!
