Today Indy spent the holiday visiting kids at Children’s Hospital Colorado. You can bet he made being stuck in the hospital on a holiday a little bit better! One smart little boy even said, “He is red, white, and blue!” Indy was wearing a blue shirt and his greying face counts as white these days I guess!
And just a gentle reminder — more dogs run away from home on the 4th of July than any other day. If your dog is freaked out by fireworks, please make sure your doors are shut and your gates are secure! We are lucky that all four of our dogs are unfazed — maybe it has something to do with them all (including Schmav) being exposed to gun fire! My trainer swears it is different, but I think it might help.
