We did it!!! Karma picked up her 9th QQ and her 4th in the qualifying period to finish her requirements to qualifying for the AKC National Agility Competition in Reno! She also needed 32 more points, and managed to hit it right on the nose; 11 points in Jumpers and 21 points in Standard! In fact, our jumpers run garnered us 2nd place at a two ring trial and we were only two seconds behind one of the fastest Border Collies in the state. Goosebumps for sure 🙂 The Border Collies in 3rd and 4th place are also screaming fast, so it was an honor to have my little peanut in their company 🙂
We’ve been working on qualifying for Reno since December 1st of last year. We missed the 2014 National by about 80 points, so to have our 4 QQs, 20 Master legs, and 500 points out of the way by September, feels great! Now maybe we can spend a little more time getting Karma’s SH off her goal list this fall 🙂
Yesterday, we also arranged to have a pot luck lunch with a bunch of our agility friends. It turned out great! We all had a really nice time and it was really nice to celebrate our great year with all our friends.
Karma also picked up a Jumpers leg today, good for 13 MACH points. She is the most amazing dog, and we are so lucky to belong to her!
