OMG. We are getting dangerously close to qualifying for Nationals! We didn’t think it would happen because we haven’t had a QQ since March! But now, here we are, two months away from the deadline, and we picked up QQ #3 towards Nationals!
It was an absolutely fabulous weekend doing agility. This weekend’s trials were hosted by the Berners and the Basset Hounds. What a combo, right? Our favorite thing about this trial, is that it is held outdoors. It’s one of only two trials held outdoors on grass here in Colorado, so we try not to miss it.
Adding to the perfect weekend was having our friend Emily and her Golden, Layla, entered with us. We set up a tent to shade the dogs and picnic’d and enjoyed some Vitamin D all weekend.
On Saturday, Karma picked up 18 MACH points in Standard. That’s right. Standard Q.
And Sunday was the big day. We picked up a QQ and 22 points in Standard and 10 in Jumpers. That gives us a total of 50 MACH points this weekend! 🙂 Also…Layla and Emily picked up the final leg needed for her MJG…which means she has qualified in Master Jumpers 75 times!! Holy Moly!
