We made it! For the past two days we’ve been driving to California for the Vizsla Club of America’s National Specialty and Companion Events. This year, the National is being hosted in Del Mar, California starting on Monday. But, there is a Vizsla Specialty tomorrow at Lake Matthews, so we planned travel to get here a couple days early.
Last night we made it to Green River, Utah and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express which was dog friendly! Yeah! Then today we (Jenny, Ginger, and Heather) drove to Jamie’s house where Jenny is staying for the weekend. Heather is also from this part of California, so she and Ginger were going to stay with her family tonight. We even managed to grab an In-N-Out burger for lunch in Las Vegas!
After getting settled in at Jamie & Chuck’s house we headed down the street to kick off our evening with a cocktail. Soon we were joined by Stephen Ray (owns Sven out of Karma’s brother Zeke) and Tad (owns Karma’s Dad Tok) and we had a fantastic night bar hopping and having dinner. Seems like it is going to be a great week ahead!
