Woo-hoo! On the way to the show this weekend, Karma had a heart-to-heart with Jenny. She was told that if she could finish her silly Championship she could do agility every weekend instead. Guess that was all she needed — Karma went in the ring and not only won Winners Bitch, but Best of Winners both yesterday and today! Thank you to Judges Leta Graham and Kitty Steidel for finding our girl.
Reserve (both days) went to Karma’s baby cousin, Ila, who did bird work with us back in January. Watch out! Ila is gorgeous and Caitlin is doing a great job handling her very first show dog. Although we aren’t Caitlin’s breeder, seeing Caitlin in the ring this weekend made everything come full circle. When she approached us last year looking for a puppy, we only suggested she be open to conformation and hunting, and seeing how far she has come — well it’s just too cool!
Karma’s wins this weekend take her to 10 points — she just lacks 5 points and a major for her Championship. But for now, we kinda like that she is a perfect 10 🙂
