Snowy hikes

The dogs were so excited to get up to Vail this weekend! Two weeks ago, Marc and Jenny took a trip to one of our favorite spots in Mexico to enjoy some beach time. With the coronavirus taking over China, the fancy airline fleet with the first class pods has nothing to do, so they upgraded our Mexico flight to one of those bad boys. It was so fun. Followed by 4 days at a 5 star hotel and the level of pampering was at an all time high! After flying back, Jenny had to leave the next morning to head to Florida for a week long work trip. Needless to say, the dogs were ready to hit the trails this weekend!

Karma looking so pretty in the frosty backdrop.

We got up to Vail last night and after sleeping in, we took the girls back to the trail head we found last week. As we were walking, a snowshoer said, “I’ll probably see you guys again because I’m going to do the loop twice.” Loop? So this time we were actively searching for a fork in the hike and found where it branches off! Sure enough, we were able to do a complete loop. We stopped for some pictures and the girls had a great time. Our peak altitude was 9,000 feet and the views were gorgeous! The snow was a little slushy, almost like walking on a beach, so it was a great workout.

Halo wishing we would all hurry up.

Hopefully, it’s not too long before we get back up!
