We finally had a free weekend to head up to Vail and the pups were SO excited! Cheeky had so many firsts! First time on our favorite local trail, first time swimming, and first time experiencing a Vail summer with snow melt adding tons of waterfalls to our hiking trail!
We also hit up the Go Pro Mountain games, which is one of our very favorite Vail events. We even ran into Stephen Ray, our friend who owns Karma’s nephew, Sven. We enjoyed checking out all the vendors, watching some extreme sports, and the highlight was watching dock diving! On Stephen Ray’s suggestion we hit the K9 Sport Sack booth and walked away with a new backpack for Schmavitz!
Cheeky’s first swimming experience with Halo was pretty solid — except she doesn’t quite have her Mother’s smooth stroke yet! It was pretty fun to watch her figure it out and we can’t wait to watch her progress over the rest of the summer!
