After we did a virtual Trick Dog Novice with Halo, we thought it was time for Cheeky to take a turn. Plus it was kinda a stormy day in Denver, and we couldn’t get her out for much exercise. To earn her Trick Dog Advanced, Cheeky had to complete the following tricks:
- Down from a distance
- Sit pretty with Lassie pose
- Walk on hind legs
- Circle right, circle left
- Under handler
- Go hide
- Pivot, paws on disk
- Back up
- Bow
- Identify toy by name
We submitted them via email to Jen Giacchi of Matrix Dog and then sent the paperwork off to the AKC. She will now be known as, CH Kizmar Someone’s Halo Slipped JH ACT1 TKA NA-Pz1.
Best part of the day, was a completely tuckered Cheeky after using her brain for all those hard tricks! Mental stimulation is sometimes just as tiring as exercise!
