Freezing December

Oh man, it is COLD!  We have had a whole week of temps below 32 degrees…One day our high was 11 degrees, reached just after midnight, by 7 am it was 5 degrees.  Seriously…BRRR.  Luckily, we were able to warm up with some agility, and even better? — The venue was a quick 5 drive from our home at Denver Dog Sports.  This is one of our favorite spots…so much so the trial Jenny is chairing in February for the Mile High Sporting Dog club will be at the same spot 🙂

This weekend it was the Cairn Terrier Club of Denver’s turn to host.  Since the Vizslas and Cairns jointly host a trial over Memorial Day, we know these club members well and know it will always be a first rate event!   This weekend was no different…the judge, LaVar Griffin, had some fun, flowy courses and the club even had Santa Claus there for pictures (more on that in a few weeks!)

Karma was able to Q in both of her Jumpers runs this weekend with 12 MACH points yesterday and 11 today.  The really big news…Karma earned 4th place with her jumpers run yesterday!!  Our very first placement in the 20” class here at home in Colorado!  Jenny was beaming ear to ear, a very cool milestone for our little Karmalita.

And thanks to Dale & Katherine Hokens for recording our runs:
