Finally, another Scent Work trial was held locally!! The last time we competed was in Nebraska in December! We had entered a trial in Texas in Late December, but it was canceled due to Covid. With the long lull, it was great to jump back into competition.
Yesterday, we were working out our kinks after the hiatus, but today was a super successful day! Cheeky picked up qualifying performances in Excellent Interior, Excellent Handler Discrimination, and Excellent Buried! At this level of Interior, you actually have two rooms and have to call finish when you think you’ve found all the scent. It felt awesome to get our first qualify at this level!! We can’t wait for the next one 🙂
