Woo hoo! Karma was an absolute rockstar this weekend! Yesterday she had a perfect QQQ, qualifying in T2B, Jumpers, and Standard! It was magical 🙂 First up was Time to Beat and Karma was SCREAMING fast! She finished just four tenths of a second behind the first place dog! Finishing in first and setting time was Emma, the cutest GSP you have ever seen! It was pretty cool to see two bird dogs in the top two slots. And by finishing so close to Emma’s time, Karma earned 9 T2B points! Just 4 more legs to go! (If you don’t know how T2B works, read this.)
After T2B, we hit the jumpers ring. Karma was her usual consistent jumpers self and picked up a Q and 8 MACH points! It was a good start, but our goal for the weekend was 42 points, so we really needed a standard Q. Sure enough, Karma pulled out a Q in Standard for 21 MACH points! This was Karma’s 9th MX Q and it was her 5th QQ 🙂 We are now a quarter of the way to our MACH! This is pretty darn exciting, We are starting to get more consistent as a team and it is showing.

Today we had a table fault in standard — Karma just didn’t want to wait any longer! It was a super tricky (and fun!) course, so with no Qs on the line, Jenny tried some riskier handling moves that didn’t really pan out…but she got all her contacts and her weaves were smokin’ fast 🙂 We finished out the day with a Q and 11 MACH points in jumpers, finishing the weekend with 40 points, just short of our 42 point goal. Not too shabby!
